Okey is an engaging game that combines elements of chance, logic, and memory, utilizing rectangular tiles arranged on player racks. As a member of the Rummy family, Okey is played with a set of 106 tiles and enjoys significant popularity, particularly among Turkish communities both in Turkey and abroad.
The tiles are numbered from 1 to 13, presented in various colors, alongside two unique special tiles known as "false jokers," which do not feature any numbers. At the start of the game, each player receives a hand of 14 tiles. During their turn, players draw one tile from the pool and discard another. The objective is to be the first to successfully arrange all 14 tiles into valid pairs and runs, thereby winning the game.
